IMPORTANCE OF GRANDPARENTS IN OUR LIFE  

Grandparents plays an important role in our life . Grandparents not only teach us moral values but also help us in choosing what is  right and what is wrong . They take care of their grandchildren on regular basis. Most of their significance to children is seen through the support and help they give to their parents. Grandparents can be a major support during family disruptions. Sometimes they're playmates for their grandchildren.Grandparents are often the role model and mentors for the new generation .Wise parents foster strong relationships between grandparents and grandchildren. Letters, phone calls, videos, audio cassettes, sharing of school work, and personal contact where possible all build bonds of love and friendship between the generations.Grandparents are like shady trees that has an ever welcoming attitude towards life. They are always there to offer their cool shade to the next generation. As a child grows up, he/she will encounter dozens of teachers, but there cannot be any replacement for grandparents.Not all grandparents may possess bookish knowledge, but they have a wealth of real life experiences and information to share, which is not taught in any of the schools out there . Today, children often look up to their grandparents for suggestions, since they know that grandparents have seen and faced the real world inside-out. Kids may not listen to their parents, but they will pay heed to what the old grandparents has to say.
